Sugar makes the body more Alkaline ( High Fructose Corn Syrup is especially bad). If you get too Alkaline our tissue oxygen levels will get depleted and you may even feel as if you are not getting enough oxygen with each breath.

You’ll also most likely develop allergies and all sorts of other toxic symptoms, have trouble sleeping, become restless, loose focus, etc.

Here’s a few tips in addition to the top linked article.

In addition to these remedies Magnesium rich foods can help you loosen up your muscles. Calcium contracts them and Magnesium loosens them up.

However there’s a catch. If you are low on Vitamin D, and many people are, it will will make the distribution of both calcium and magnesium in the body less efficient.

Also probiotics can help your bodies metabolism naturally balance itself.

I live in South Carolina where I get a lot of Sun and I still need to take Vitamin D regularly. It’s the “Happy Vitamin” and it affects your immune system, digestion, and hormone levels. Honestly I’m starting to think that in order for human beings to get adequate amounts of Vitamin D from sunlight, we would have to be outside all day, like other animals, but obviously that would come with some challenges.

It’s a very simple deficiency for many, especially in the winter months and for people that spend a great deal of time indoors. I need it even though I get considerable amounts of sunshine.

Also one thing that its easy to forget about when being super healthy is salt. I drink bone broth to make sure I get adequate amounts and I feel that it is important for both electrolyte balance and acid production.
